Tourism spots along River Godavari (Andhra Pradesh, India)


A famous pilgrim spot where the river Godavari after collecting all the tributaries flows till here in an undivided form. It is called “ Akhand Godavari “ in this form.

Also referred to as Dakshina kashi  it is a village in Sakhinetipalle mandal where the Bay of Bengal and Vashista Godavari meet.


Tourists are attracted to the pristine back waters of Godavari here.


The village is situated about 80 km from Rajahmundry and is known for its backwaters. The tourism department has a resort here.
